Purchasing Agent Chip Colby presented the first item: a requisition from Health and Human Services to buy four 2024 Chevrolet Trax vehicles from Ingersoll Auto of Danbury at a quoted unit price of $19,476.60. Colby said the purchase is funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and complies with both city purchasing rules and ARPA requirements. The board approved the award, contingent on review by PKF O'Connor Davies, an ARPA consultant.
