The Lancaster County Board of Zoning Appeals unanimously approved the meeting agenda and the minutes from the BZA meeting on 03/03/2026 following a motion by a board member and a second. The chair confirmed the vote and the agenda and minutes were accepted as presented.
During the meeting Chair Charles Deese announced a staffing change: "April has resigned and took a job in Landrum," he said, adding that Director Shannon would take on additional planning and filing responsibilities until a replacement is hired. The chair asked board members to be patient and support Shannon as she covers duties across planning commission and related sections.
After routine business and staff updates there was a brief discussion about scheduling a future site visit or software demonstration at the zoning office; the chair said he would work with Shannon and board members to find a suitable date. With no further business the chair called for a motion and adjourned the meeting.
No formal land-use decisions or variance approvals were taken during this session.
