Eight Torrance Unified School District students who advanced to the national Invention Convention in Dearborn, Michigan, were introduced and recognized at the district’s Aug. 19 board meeting.
District staff said the students were among 46 Torrance entrants and that eight placed at the national competition held at the Henry Ford Museum. The board and staff brought the group forward for brief remarks and a photo opportunity.
