• Conditional use permit — 1016 North Valley Street: The council approved a permit allowing a 28-by-32 detached accessory structure on a nonconforming 0.12‑acre lot in the RT2 district, subject to five conditions including recordation with Brown County, compliance with setback and accessory-use standards, no exterior storage, no commercial use and a size limit of 1,000 sq. ft.
• Equipment purchase — roller: The council approved purchase of a new 2026 BOMAG rubber‑tired roller for the public works department with the trade‑in for a maximum net outlay not to exceed $47,950, including an extended three‑year warranty.
• Trap range building: The council approved plans and specifications and ordered advertisement for bids for a new trap range building with a bid opening set for 2 p.m. on April 28, 2026.
• Appointments and permits: The council appointed Hal Waldeboegel to the Sister Cities Commission (term to 12/31/2028); approved a short‑term right‑of‑way use application for Delta Innovative Services to stage roof replacement materials (April 6–May 8, 2026); and authorized Misfit Crafters to use City Hall‑adjacent parking stalls for scheduled vendor events between April and September 2026.
• Hearings and donations: Council set a public hearing for April 21, 2026, to consider a noise variance for 209 Pub and Grill’s Aug. 22 fundraising event; it also accepted a $500 donation to the fire department from Marilyn Reinhart.
• Claims: The council accepted the report of claims paid totaling $3,662,346.65.
