Bradford County adopts two zoning map amendments in unanimous votes

An attorney read Ordinance Z25-05 (application Z25-05), which would amend the Bradford County Land Development Regulations to reclassify certain lands from Agricultural-2A2 and commercial to industrial uses in the unincorporated county. After the public hearing produced no speakers, Commissioner Doreen (recorded by the chair) moved to approve the ordinance as read; the chair called for a second and the motion passed by an aye voice vote.
The board then heard a second ordinance, Z25-06, proposing rezoning of other lands from Agricultural-2A2 to industrial. Commissioner Andrews moved approval and Commissioner Thompson seconded; the board approved the ordinance by voice vote, recorded as 5-0.
Both items were presented at the hearing as ministerial zoning map amendments; no additional conditions or amendments were adopted at the meeting. The commission also noted that the purchasing policy ordinance presented later in the agenda was at first reading and would return for a second reading at the next meeting.
Procedural note: Both rezoning ordinances were read into the record by the county attorney during the public hearings; no public testimony was offered on either ordinance at the April 6 session.
