- Drainage easement (Burton Knob Road): Approved. - Generator grant budget amendment (Highway Department): Approved. The committee authorized moving $17,824 from the Public Works Highway Fund as the county’s approximately 5% match so the county can accept a roughly $350,000 generator paid mostly with federal and state funds (approved by roll call).
- 2026–27 Highway operating budget: Approved. The highway department presented expenditures and revenue figures and used a 12.5% retirement-rate assumption; the committee forwarded the operating budget as presented.
- Building Codes monthly report (March): Approved. Director Tanya Bell reported 401 permits in March and fee revenue of $251,048.20; the committee approved the report.
- Solid Waste monthly report: Approved. Interim Solid Waste Director Matt Davis reported March throughput of 10,142.78 tons and a recycling rate of 12.49%.
- Planning department budget amendment: Approved. The committee approved moving internal funds (no fund-balance draw) to cover legal notices, postal charges and a vehicle replacement for an inspector; the amendment will be presented at the Thursday budget meeting.
- Confirmation: Matt Davis as Solid Waste Director: Approved by roll call; the minutes were corrected during the meeting to adjust the stated salary figure.
- Motion to ban out-of-county trash at the transfer station: Failed. The motion to restrict incoming loads except for counties in a regional agreement failed on roll call; the committee requested financial and road-cost analysis and a county-attorney review before any action.
