Members agreed to retain one printed copy for approval at the meeting and to keep electronic archives on the town website. A motion to eliminate routine paper copies was made, seconded and approved.
On a tax-assessment matter, the board reviewed an agreement between the town’s assessors and a property owner identified in the packet as Nomad Holdings LLC. Assessors Steve Hamilton and Ben Heller negotiated a resolution that reduces the assessed value of the parcel by $155,000; the assessor recommended the settlement. The board moved and seconded authorization for staff (Amy, or the chair in her stead) to sign the settlement on behalf of the town; the authorization was approved.
Both items were procedural approvals; no additional policy changes were enacted.
