Lake Stevens School Board approves consent agenda, adopts two policies and accepts Skyline specifications

At its Dec. 10 meeting the Lake Stevens School District Board unanimously approved a multi-item consent agenda (including payroll, vouchers, personnel and donations), adopted a revision to Policy No. 6008 and a new Policy No. 5463, and approved Resolution No. 23-25 for Skyline Elementary specifications.
The Lake Stevens School District Board of Directors unanimously approved a multi-item consent agenda, adopted two policy actions and accepted educational specifications for Skyline Elementary at its Dec. 10 regular meeting at the Educational Service Center.
The consent agenda included multiple warrants and payrolls, personnel actions and donations. The minutes record a consent approval covering warrants numbered 319134 through 319265 totaling $1,620,990.93 and a Nov. 30 payroll totaling $13,642,459.04 (warrants 319070–319133), along with personnel appointments and resignations and several PTA and Lake Stevens Education Foundation donations to individual schools.
The board also approved, by roll call, a revision to Policy No. 6008 (Instructional Materials) and adopted a new Policy No. 5463 (Accommodating Students with Adrenal Insufficiency). Both policies passed unanimously.
Directors approved officer nominations for the 2025–2026 calendar year: Vice President David Iseminger was nominated and approved to serve as President; Mari Taylor was nominated and approved to serve as Vice President. The board appointed member(s) to write the pro/con statements for the Snohomish County Local Voters’ Pamphlet and granted final acceptance to several district public works projects after Facilities and School Planning and Construction review, including installation of two fan motors at Lake Stevens High School and roof repair at Cavelero Mid High School. The board approved Resolution No. 23-25 accepting the educational specifications for Skyline Elementary by roll call vote.
President Mari Taylor closed the meeting with thanks to staff and student representatives: "Thank you" she said, and adjourned the regular session at 8:45 p.m.
