During the Feb. 18 study session Chairperson Anderson asked whether any board member objected to placing several items on the Board's Feb. 24 Consent Agenda; no objections were raised and the items will appear on consent.
Items placed on consent included HRMD26-106 (January 2026 cash and investment transactions), and HRMD26-107 (project appropriation rescissions). Director Tiffany Hooten noted a minor correction to the rescissions list: the dugout cover replacement project's actual cost decreased by $5,750, but she said the total amount to be rescinded remains unchanged.
HRMD26-108 requests an appropriation of $158,125 from the Major Repair Fund for replacement of synthetic turf at the Douglas County School District stadium at Redstone Park; under the stadium management agreement the District's share is approximately 25% of the total replacement cost, with the School District covering the remainder. HRMD26-109 covers the 2025/2026 Parkway Fence Replacement Program, including two change orders that result in a net contract decrease of $7,298 and a request for final payment and release of retainage.
HRMD26-110, the Historic Park planning phase outreach and education support, includes a proposed six-month engagement with Slate Communications totaling $58,000 ($45,000 for Slate's services and the remainder for printed materials and contingency).
No votes were recorded at the study session; these items are scheduled to be considered on the Feb. 24 Consent Agenda.
