The Owasso City Council approved an agreement with Universal Field Services, Inc. to provide right-of-way and easement acquisition services for the East 106th Street North improvement project.
Roger Stevens presented the recommended services and scope, which include ordering and reviewing appraisals, title reports and surveys, initial contact with property owners, offering donation letters in lieu of payment when appropriate, assisting with offers and documentation, coordinating with city staff on parcel changes and filing necessary documents at the courthouse.
Stevens said the services will cover eight parcels tied to the corridor from North 129th East Avenue to North 145th East Avenue. Funding for the agreement is included in the project budget and the transportation tax fund and the recommended contract is not to exceed $101,900.
A councilor moved and seconded approval of the agreement and the motion carried by recorded voice vote; Stevens was asked to remain available for further items and questions.
