Napa — During routine action, the Napa Valley Unified School District board approved a slate of consent and contract items covering procurement, agreements and personnel matters.
Several business and instructional items were approved without public comment. Highlights included purchase approvals for the Learn Platform with Instructure, Donaldson network equipment with AMS Net, and a planned purchase of a forklift for food services. The board also approved a 25‑26 human resources salary schedule, supplementary high‑school instructional material adoptions, and a series of student data‑privacy or data‑sharing agreements (Go Strength, Lee Imagery LLC, United States Academic Decathlon). Interdistrict and partnership agreements (including a ratification with Fairfield‑Suisun Unified) were also approved.
Each item was moved (firsts frequently recorded as Trustee Chu and seconds by Trustee Martin), there were no public comments on the items, and each motion passed by voice vote. The student board member indicated “Aye” on multiple consent items; the chair announced the motions passed.
Earlier in the meeting, the board recorded formal actions on student discipline under closed session: recommended expulsions for two students and one readmission from expulsion; those actions were reported out with roll‑call affirmation.
