The chair moved to "refund the remaining escrow funds in the amount of $2,012.99 to Total Construction Solutions LLC for 44 Sweet Hill Road, Horizon Way and to close the escrow account." A second was recorded and the board approved the motion by a 5-0-0 voice vote.
Staff explained the project had changed hands and a new escrow account had been established, leaving the prior account with a small remaining balance to be returned. "In this case, the project switched hands, and so a new escrow account has been established for this project," a staff member said.
The refund motion closed the old escrow account; no further conditions or follow-up were stated at the meeting.
