At the meeting the council approved three discrete operational actions.
Helicopter landing: Casey Ziegler, manager for First Flight of Wyoming, requested permission to land a training helicopter near Northwest College for mass-casualty familiarization exercises on April 14–15. Council moved and approved the helicopter landing request by voice vote.
Bid award: Staff presented the bid results for the 7th Street South Side boring project; a single qualified bidder, J & J Construction (Cody), submitted a bid of $138,900 (budgeted at $140,000). Council accepted the bid results and authorized all necessary signatures.
Airport landlord's release: Staff described a landlord's release for First Bank of Wyoming related to airport lot lease number 8 (a hangar used as collateral for a bank loan). Council approved the landlord's release and authorized signatures.
All three items were advanced by voice vote; contract documents and signatures will be completed by staff where required.
