City staff presented two routine contract items and the council approved both by voice vote.
Zach introduced an amendment to the Pool & Spa Medics contract to add a fee schedule the city had omitted. He said the contractor had already signed the amended agreement and asked the council to authorize all necessary signatures. A council member moved to approve the amendment and authorization; the motion passed by voice vote.
Zach also presented a three‑year service contract for the automated weather observation system (AWOS) at the Powell airport, explaining the agreement is required by the state aeronautics division. He said the contract is $5,463 per year. A motion to approve the DBT Transportation aviation support and maintenance services contract and to authorize signatures was moved, seconded and carried by voice vote.
Both contract approvals were routine; staff will process the signatures and manage the vendor relationships and procurement records.
