The approved consent items included second readings of two airport lease ordinances (one with Paul Kuntz and one with Intune Counseling) and a resolution to affirmatively participate in a proposed national opioid remnant-defendant settlement.
Land Reuse and Preservation Agency ordinance: Council approved first reading of an ordinance to clarify membership and residential-status rules for the Land Reuse and Preservation Agency; council described the proposal as largely administrative. The roll-call vote for first reading was unanimous, 7–0.
Separate contract award: The Eastern Roller Mill deck and parking contract was removed from the consent agenda for separate discussion and later approved by a 6–1 roll call vote (see separate coverage).
