Milford board increases default budget by $35,850 to cover additional 2026 elections

A selectman moved to increase the default budget by $35,850 with intent that the amount cover the additional elections; the motion was seconded and the board approved the change. Bridal noted the adjustment would change the default budget totals and that the revised form will be posted per DRA instructions before ballots are printed.
The board recorded the estimated tax impact in its packet; Bridal said the added funds translate to roughly a small change in the tax rate and the revised DRA form will be posted as directed.
