Finance committee adopts amended measure authorizing perpetual easements over Waialae submerged lands

The chair said the measure will clarify that the total easement area is approximately 12,700 square feet, to be specified as three separate easements of about 2,983 sq ft; 2,190 sq ft; and 7,527 sq ft respectively, with final confirmation by the Department of Accounting and General Services survey division.
Members agreed to adopt DLNR’s AG-informed edits. The committee then voted to move the amended measure forward; the recommendation to adopt the amendments was recorded as approved.
