Upper Darby school board approves posted agenda, adopts finance and budget report

At a regularly scheduled meeting, the Upper Darby School District board approved the previously posted agenda and unanimously adopted the Finance and Budget Report presented by Director Deborah Williams; no public comments were received during the public hearing.
The Upper Darby School District Board of School Directors convened and the Chair called the voting meeting to order. The Chair announced two members — Board Member Piacentini Kayo and board member Glenn — were excused, and that Board Member Hussain would participate virtually and his electronic connection had been confirmed.
Director Deborah Williams presented the Finance and Budget Report and told the board, “The Finance and Budget Report is in the hands of each Board member and has been made available to the public.” Williams moved to adopt the report; the motion was seconded and the board voted in favor. The Chair announced the motion carried.
Earlier in the meeting the board voted to approve the agenda that had been posted to BoardDocs at least 24 hours before the meeting. The motion to approve the agenda was moved and seconded and carried by voice vote.
The Chair opened the public hearing for residents who signed in and for emailed or phone comments, explained the three-minute time limit per speaker and that general comments would not exceed one hour under Policy 903, and reported there were no in-person or virtual public comments this evening.
A motion to adjourn was made and seconded and the Chair declared the meeting adjourned.
