Davis County Commission approves polling locations, contracts and grant amendments in unanimous votes

The Davis County Commission on March 24 approved a broad set of routine items and agreements, including designated polling locations for the 2026 elections, multiple contract renewals and amendments across departments, and technology and facilities procurements.
Key approvals recorded in the minutes include: approval of polling locations for the 2026 primary and general elections (Bountiful City Hall to substitute for Bountiful Library during renovations); an addendum with Atlis Technologies (up to $15,000); a multi-year Software-as-a-Service agreement with Tyler Technologies ($248,000 in 2026 and $285,000 annually thereafter); a Patron Point renewal for library communications ($57,398); a $166,400 security control system upgrade at the county correctional facility; and multiple health department contract amendments including a $30,400 HIV prevention grant amendment and a mobile emissions pilot agreement with Mercenary Automotive.
Treasurer Matt Brady presented and the Commission approved an addendum to a professional services contract with Moreton Asset Management and consented to assignment of the agreement to Meeder Public Funds due to a corporate merger. The Commission also approved a slate of consent items covering monitoring programs, training agreements and event contracts for the Western Sports Park. In each recorded vote the minutes state “all present voted aye.”
Motions were largely noncontroversial and handled in bundled votes by department. Formal recorded votes listed in the minutes show Commissioners John Crofts, Bob Stevenson and Lorene Kamalu voting in the affirmative on items brought forward during the March 24 meeting.
