Select Board tables Yogi Bear’s liquor‑license renewal, cites ambiguous floor plan

Betsy Clark, an online commenter, told the board she reviewed the submitted packet and was concerned the attached floor plan appeared to be the retailer/off‑premises diagram rather than a plan showing where on‑site drink service would be provided. Another board member noted that if the license, as filed, limits service to the premises shown on the submitted plan, outdoor/beach service would likely not be covered.

Given the ambiguity, a motion to table the application and request clarification from the applicant carried by voice vote, 5–0. The board recorded the action and said staff would ask the applicant to clarify the premises for on‑site service and resubmit any corrected floor plan or narrative before the matter returns to the board.
