City staff update council on CSO phases, firehouse work and paving plans

He also described Foschini Park site-preparation (drainage, geogrid, DGA stone), the city’s CDBG roads (South Newman and DeWolf) slated to start at the end of the month with expected completion before Thanksgiving, and a county plan to install ADA ramps on South River Street followed by milling and paving. Ryan told the council PSE&G gas-main work has driven an additional ~18,000 square yards of resurfacing that the city will add to its paving plan.
Councilmembers asked clarifying questions about paving limits (five-year curb-to-curb rule vs. centerline-to-curb on older streets) and confirmed coordination with county contractors. No formal actions were taken; the presentation provided schedule and scope updates for staff follow-up.
