Council issues proclamations for Fair Housing Month, Earth Week, telecommunicators and work‑zone safety; appoints Carlton Wills

A proclamation declaring Earth Week (April 19–25) was read and accepted by Public Works Director Nicole Gleeson, and the council likewise proclaimed National Work Zone Awareness Week (April 20–24) and acknowledged public‑works partners and contractors.
Earlier in the meeting the council confirmed an appointment to the Riverfront Improvement Commission: Carlton Wills of the 3rd Ward was approved by voice vote.
