Council approves sewer mapping, schedules follow-up on easement damage

A representative of Woodruff Construction told the council damage located outside sewer easements would be repaired according to property-owner requests, and a meeting will be scheduled with council members and affected owners. Mayor Pro-Tem Merle Regenold temporarily appointed Councilmembers Chris Yarkosky and Don Benson as a Sewer Committee to oversee follow-up.
Sanitation Commissioner Eric Miller requested new sewer-system mapping at an amount not to exceed $5,000 to be included in the 2024–25 budget year. Councilmember Scott Kelly moved and Don Benson seconded to approve the mapping upgrade; the motion carried 6-0.
The minutes do not include engineering specifications, a vendor name for mapping, or a timetable for the repairs; council minutes show only that the mapping was approved and that a meeting regarding easement damage will be set.
