Superintendent announces calendar revision, Capturing Kids' Hearts recognition for district

The superintendent also announced that Glen Ridge Public School District was chosen as a 2025–26 Capturing Kids' Hearts National Showcase Schools District Award winner, citing participation from Ridgewood Avenue, Forest, Linden and Central schools and noting the award recognizes district-wide engagement; the superintendent said only about 10 districts nationwide received the honor.
Board members thanked staff and the Glenridge Educational Foundation for support; the foundation's donations to professional development and virtual high school resources were noted later in the agenda.
