The Clackamas County IVD Advisory Council voted March 23 to permanently move its May meeting one week earlier, setting the May meeting date for May 18, 2026, and adopted an annual agenda to run through February 2027.
Chair (speaker 1) opened the meeting, confirmed a quorum and asked members to review the February 8 minutes, which were approved after a second from speaker 2. After a discussion of conflicts with Memorial Day and spring-break timing, the chair moved to "permanently change May's meeting 1 week earlier," and members approved the motion by voice.
The adopted annual agenda, presented by the chair, organizes recurring monthly items including program and QA updates, membership recruitment, community outreach and a June resource fair. The agenda also schedules a midyear housekeeping review, periodic review of ODDS budget impacts and a standing open floor for council members and public comment. The council also flagged potential agenda items for May — including chair and co-chair elections, community outreach planning and presentations on Help Me Home and Jill’s House.
During the discussion members emphasized flexibility: the chair said the agenda is a guide and may be amended, and members may place additional topics on future meeting dockets. The council agreed to invite relevant staff and external presenters when deeper detail or departmental decisions are required.
The council will implement the new May date immediately; the next meeting is scheduled for May 18, 2026. The annual agenda will serve as the planning framework until February 2027, when the council will review and reset its priorities.
