Hinckley panel approves two-family dwelling and manufactured-home permit, OKs meeting minutes

The Hinckley Town Planning and Zoning Commission on March 11 approved several routine permit and procedural items, including a two-family dwelling application in the Hinckley Meadows subdivision and a manufactured-home placement.
Michael Zurn of JD Redevelopment applied to build a two-family dwelling on Lot 5 in Hinckley Meadows. Zurn said the lot is 0.46 acres in an R1 zone and therefore exceeds the one-third-acre threshold that allows two-family dwellings in that zone; he confirmed off-street parking pads consistent with the requirement of two parking stalls per unit. Commission Member Joy Partridge moved to approve the two-family dwelling on Lot 5 with the maintenance department verifying utilities; Clark Mortensen seconded the motion.
Commission Member Clark Mortensen moved to approve Kevin Chambers' application to place a new manufactured home at 168 North 100 West (Parcel H-2005); Joy Partridge seconded. The record shows the proposed placement met setback requirements.
Earlier in the meeting, commissioners moved to approve the minutes from the February 11 and February 17 meetings. At 8:00 p.m. Commission Member Clark Mortensen moved to adjourn; Margene Stevens seconded.
