Council accepts donated holiday lighting for Merrimack bandstand and tree

The Merrimack Town Council unanimously accepted an offer from a group identified as Southern New Hampshire to provide and install holiday lighting for the Merrimack bandstand and community Christmas tree at no cost to the town.
Council discussed that the installation has been done previously and praised the quality of the work. The acceptance was moved and seconded and passed by voice vote (6–0–0). Councilors said they would send a letter of thanks and a certificate of appreciation to the volunteers who organize the display.
