The Merrimack Planning Board voted 6-0 on April 7 to appoint Tim Tenhave to the regional planning commission. A board member moved the appointment and the motion was seconded; the board recorded a unanimous vote in favor.
In the administration report, planning staff said recent approvals include site alterations at the YMCA related to daycare licensing, two level-1 home-occupation filings, and two dog grooming uses from 2024 that have met conditions of approval. Staff also said a cosmetology business at 11 West Chamberlain failed to meet its conditions within 12 months and appears to have discontinued pursuing the business; staff noted the business may return for future approvals if desired.
The board also approved the minutes of the March 17 meeting (vote recorded 5-0-1, with Peter abstaining) before adjourning the meeting.
