The Merrimack Planning Board handled several procedural and administrative matters during its March 17 meeting.
Chair announced that the Talon Properties daycare application for 729 Daniel Webster Highway had been withdrawn and therefore required no board vote. The board approved a requested continuance for a proposed fast‑food site at 725 Daniel Webster Highway to April 21 after hearing from Matt Peterson that the project’s traffic engineer had been unavailable; the board required the applicant to provide additional notice to abutters at the applicant's expense and voted 5‑0‑0 to grant the extension.
A separate warehouse site plan for 769 Daniel Webster Highway (applicant Chris Strickler) was continued to April 7 with no further notice to abutters. Staff also reported several administrative approvals, recent ADU applications in process and a small change related to a local pickleball facility’s fencing that did not require full board review. The board approved minutes and adjourned 5‑0‑0.
Matt Peterson apologized for the traffic‑engineer delay and asked the board for the continuance. The board confirmed meeting times and submission deadlines for the continued items.
