Planning Board continues Talon Properties PUD amendment and daycare site-plan to Jan. 20

The Merrimack Planning Board on Jan. 6 agreed to continue review of two related filings by Talon Properties concerning 729 DW Highway: a PUD amendment proposing a daycare facility and a separate site-plan application for a 13,612-square-foot daycare building.
Chair introduced the PUD amendment and the separate site-plan filing and noted the applicant requested a continuance to the Jan. 20 meeting in the Memorial Room. A motion to continue the public hearing for the Society Hill PUD amendment to Jan. 20 at 6:30 p.m., with no further notice to abutters, was made and seconded; the board voted 6–0–0 to continue.
Separately, the board continued consideration of the site-plan proposing the 13,612-square-foot daycare and associated site improvements to the Jan. 20 meeting. Board members noted the two filings are administratively distinct though closely related; staff compared the situation to a recent nearby application where a PUD amendment and subdivision were processed separately.
Both continuances give staff and the applicant time to complete required materials and allow the board to consider any public comments at the rescheduled hearing.
