Harrison Township awards $17,900 engineering contract for CDBG-funded sewer lining project

Harrison Township’s board approved contracting Wade Trim for engineering services at a lump sum of $17,900 to support a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funded sanitary sewer lining project covering Marilac Street, Homeview Street and Edman Street.
Township staff said the work will include pre- and post-TV cleaning, cured-in-place liner installation, lateral reinstatement, manhole rehabilitation, flow control, traffic control and associated tasks to meet CDBG low- and moderate-income program requirements. The clerk’s summary estimated the total project cost at approximately $159,172, which includes a 20% construction contingency and bidding assistance.
Treasurer Lawrence Tomenello moved to approve the contract; Trustee David Bratto seconded the motion, and the board carried the approval.
