School board renews Chartwells food‑service contract with 4% increase

And at this year, we, this is my first year. And here, we are above profit and participation, where the school year will be more budgeted even with declining enrollment,” Allison said. She said the district plans to expand its summer feeding program this summer and add an after‑school snack program at Montgomery in the fall.
Board members moved and seconded the renewal; after brief discussion the motion carried unanimously. The district will continue to monitor participation and budget implications as it implements the expanded feeding and after‑school offerings.
