Harrison Township approves $1.79 million in bills, standard consent items

The Harrison Township Board of Trustees on Feb. 24 approved a consent agenda that included $1,788,182.80 in bills, regular meeting minutes, financial reports and several routine contracts and payments.
Trustee Brian Batkins moved and Trustee Dean Olgiati seconded approval of the consent agenda, and the motion carried. Separately listed motions approved the Feb. 10, 2025 regular meeting minutes and the January 2025 Revenue and Expenditure Report. The Board also approved the SMART Specialized Services Contract for fiscal year 2025.
The Board authorized a payment of $104,650.00 to Clinton Township as Harrison Township’s share of the 2025 41B District Court bond payment. The meeting record shows the bills and related items were carried on unanimous votes among trustees present.
Other consent agenda items included a cost-share agreement with Six Rivers to treat phragmites in right-of-way areas, with the township committing up to $6,000 in matching funds for 2025. All consent motions were made by Trustee Batkins and seconded primarily by Trustee Olgiati.
The Board approved the consent agenda as part of routine agenda management and moved on to the regular agenda after recording the roll call and required votes.
