Rosebud County declares vehicles and equipment surplus, to sell by ad or auction

Rosebud County officials on March 31 declared a set of county vehicles and equipment surplus and approved plans to dispose of them by sale.
The Chair listed items to be declared surplus: a 1997 F-250 pickup, a 2013 Ford Edge, a 2001 trailer and a Gemini auto hoist. The Chair said the trailer and the auto hoist will be handled as Mile City-owned property while the other two vehicles will be advertised and sold. Committee member moved to declare the items surplus; the motion was approved by voice vote.
The Chair described the sale procedure as advertising in the local paper and possibly conducting an auction. The board recorded the motions, heard no discussion, and approved moving the items into surplus for disposition.
The meeting adjourned after the surplus declarations.
