Commission approves JNC Lawn & Landscape mowing for redevelopment properties

The Sellersburg Redevelopment Commission approved the redevelopment portion of a JNC Lawn & Landscape mowing contract for redevelopment-owned properties at its April 6 meeting.
A Wheatley Group representative noted the contract had been approved by council and executed, and that the redevelopment commission was being asked to approve the redevelopment share for mowing specific properties. The representative said the two redevelopment items are the Old Sellersburg Elementary property and Camp Run.
Commission members voted to approve $75 for each mowing at the Old Sellersburg Elementary School property and $350 per mowing at the Camp Run interchange as the redevelopment commission’s share. The motion passed on a voice vote recorded as 3-0. "Just need to sign it," one commissioner said after the vote.
Staff said invoices will be broken out and presented separately on the claims register when billed; the commission will pay its redevelopment portion out of ceded/TIF funds as appropriate.
