Saint John's seeks follow‑up CPA funding for preservation, prioritizes food pantry roof

Trish told the committee the project total (phase 1+2) was about $850,000 including congregation investment and that the food pantry roof and exterior work would be the highest priority if funds are limited. The committee noted CPA cannot fund stained glass that contains religious imagery; Trish said the budget and prior walk‑through had addressed eligibility and that the preservation consultant had reviewed which windows would be eligible for CPA funding.
Committee members asked whether certain parts of the scope could be prioritized; Trish emphasized the food pantry roof was critical to allow continued service. The committee did not act on the request and will consider the application in the internal review period.
