During the public-comment portion of the Aug. 26 meeting, a resident raised a concern that a water line runs across their private property and asked the commission how to have it removed.
"So that water line runs on on our property, so we need it off the property. So how do we go about that?" the resident asked. The mayor directed the city manager to follow up; the resident and manager acknowledged the exchange, but the meeting record shows no formal motion, staff report, or vote on the issue.
The matter was not discussed further at the meeting; commissioners and staff indicated it would be handled through the appropriate administrative channels rather than as a commission action.
