Fulton County outlines services at new North Fulton Health & Human Services campus

Fulton County Chief Operating Officer Pamela Rochelle visited Roswell’s mayor and council on March 23 to outline services planned for a North Fulton Health and Human Services campus at 4700 North Pointe Parkway.
Rochelle said the county purchased the more-than-100,000-square-foot facility in 2019 and plans roughly $15 million in rehabilitation to house multiple services under one roof for North Fulton residents: outpatient behavioral-health and substance-use services for adults and children; an intellectual and developmental-disabilities training center; senior services including a neighborhood senior center and adult day services with lunch and classes; a relocated Fulton County Board of Health office; a travel clinic and environmental health inspections for restaurants; a court-supervised recovery treatment program for certain DUI cases; and onsite vital records services so residents would no longer need to travel downtown to 141 Pryor Street.
Rochelle emphasized what the site is not: it is not a homeless shelter, inpatient treatment center, acute hospital or emergency room. The campus will also host early-voting locations (early voting to begin April 26 for the May 19 primary and again in October for the November general election). She provided phone numbers for behavioral health intake and program enrollment.
Rochelle said the county originally used the site for COVID outreach and vaccination and has repositioned it to focus on health and human services. She said the county will continue community engagement and will provide enrollment and contact options for interested residents.
Council members thanked the county for bringing services closer to North Fulton residents.
