Dunlap board approves $5.76 million in payments, personnel actions and policy revisions

The board approved the bill list, treasurer’s report and district investment report on a motion by Mick Hall, seconded by Tim Wagenbach. The roll call vote recorded Tom Feldman, Andrew Tyra, Mick Hall, Tim Wagenbach, Youssef Boudjarane and Nicolas Yemm as aye; there were no nays. The payment authorized totaled $5,757,652.64.
In the same business block the board approved revisions described as the Press Plus 120 policy and associated purchases on a motion by Tom Feldman, seconded by Mick Hall; the motion carried on a unanimous roll call. After returning from closed session the board approved the Human Resources Consent Agenda on a motion by Andrew Tyra, seconded by Youssef Boudjarane; the roll call vote was unanimous in favor.
The Human Resources Consent Agenda listed multiple new hires and separations across district buildings, including aides, bus drivers and an ESL teacher. New hires recorded in the packet included Duncan Smith (Aide — Resource 1-on-1, BES), Keri Hasty (Cook — Special Assignment), Carolina Schmeilski (Aide — Resource Classroom), Sridevi Bhima (ESL Teacher, HGES) and several transportation staff. Separations listed included retirements, transfers and ends of temporary assignments; the packet provides separation dates and reasons.
