Granite Falls council honors late deputy clerk and forms performance review committee for city manager

Councilmembers Griggs and Straughn were appointed to the committee by motion; both motions carried.
During public comments earlier in the meeting, residents reported storm-related losses and ongoing flooding at private properties; the council did not record specific remedies in the minutes but thanked staff for storm response work and noted follow-up by public works may be appropriate.
