Board hears demo of Phaedrus financial system; business manager says projections hold despite higher CPI

Staff named Tony and Tia as key contributors to building the system for public use and stressed the need to balance depth with user-friendliness.
On district finances, the business manager provided preliminary projections: the district remains in a stable position, cash-flow projections are sufficient to operate through about June given recent county disbursements, but continued updates from the county on spring collections are pending and will affect final projections.
What happens next: Staff will continue developing Phaedrus for public and internal reporting and complete formal budget projections incorporating the latest CPI and county tax collection information.
