Adair County supervisors approve $267,307.23 in claims and several routine actions

The Adair County Board of Supervisors approved payment of vendor claims totaling $267,307.23 at its March 31 meeting, covering bridge and road projects, utilities, contracts and other county services.
Clerk presented the claims list, which included major line items for road and bridge contractors and the NW Wind Farm capital project fund. Supervisor Wedemeyer moved to approve the claims; Supervisor Baier seconded the motion, which the board approved.
The clerk also summarized fund distributions for the meeting: $23,675.58 to the General Fund; $794.32 to General Supplemental; $1,338.56 to Rural Services; $15,788.95 to Secondary Road; $6,834.10 to Local Option Sales Tax; and $218,875.72 to the NW Wind Farm UR Capital Project Fund. The totals were approved by the board.
In routine business the board approved township clerk wages for Becky Luers in the amount of $40, acknowledged receipt of the SICOG annual report, and accepted manure management plan updates from Todd Van Eaton. The board accepted the resignation of Diana Bower as Jackson Township Clerk and appointed Deanna Winkelman as her replacement (motion by Supervisor Hoadley, seconded by Supervisor Wedemeyer). All listed routine motions were recorded as approved.
