Lebanon explores emergency shelter options including old-school basement and Masonic Temple

The Masonic Temple was suggested as a possible second site; the committee member said he had been told the city owns that building. Staff said he might have numbers for larger-scale disasters and offered to help coordinate.
No formal decision was recorded; council members asked staff and volunteers to identify capacity and logistical requirements and to follow up with the library, property owners and the city attorney as needed.
