"Dr. Tallis has provided professional development around the topic to all instructional staff at ICS," Cameron said, and he thanked her "for her excellent work." The superintendent also reported updates to the Safe Routes to School initiative, athletic improvements at district facilities and described successes from the first day of school.
The board accepted the administrative update; no formal motions or votes accompanied the report. The superintendent's office will continue implementation and bring any policy or budget items to the board as needed.
