The Imlay City Board of Education voted unanimously Sept. 22 to approve payment of General Fund and Lunch Fund bills and disbursements totaling $1,990,026.00 after a motion by Treasurer Doug Van Dyk and support from Trustee Ashley Wolford. The roll call recorded ayes from President Sharon Muir, Kaylee Kaeding, Doug Van Dyk, Greg Dennis, Alex Lengemann, Ashley Wolford and Laura Zelenak; no members voted against the motion.
The board also approved Barton Malow disbursements in the amount of $33,005.00 on a motion by Trustee Greg Dennis supported by Treasurer Doug Van Dyk; that motion carried unanimously on roll call. Earlier in the meeting the board approved minutes from the Aug. 25, 2025 regular meeting "as presented," and accepted the Financial Report and Capital Projects Report as read in BoardBook. The minutes excerpt does not specify which invoices or line items composed the approved disbursements.
