Nonprofit announces feasibility study and historic-structure report for church at 292 Bellevue

Michael Hoyt, representing the Legacy Group of Benton Harbor, told the Brownfield board during public comment that his nonprofit plans a feasibility study and historical structure report for the church at 292 Bellevue, a building with notable historic features dating to 1866.
"We will be doing a feasibility study about the second week in May," Hoyt said, naming Reed Walker Design Collective as the firm that will perform the study and the historical structure report. He cited the building’s Skinner organ, bells from the Neely Bell Company and Tiffany stained glass above the altar as reasons the structure merits preservation.
Hoyt said the group will share more details as the feasibility study proceeds and thanked the board for their time.
