Residents tell Clinton County supervisors property tax rise risks pricing them out of homes

As a self-employed small business owner, this rise risks pricing us out of our home after a lifetime of work." Another resident, Steve Hoogheem (516 Randy Dr., Clinton), said he was concerned about paying city property taxes without receiving city services promised when his property was annexed 30 years ago. The board adjourned the hearing on a motion by Supervisor Irwin; minutes record no formal levy action at that meeting.
