The Bernards Township Committee on Nov. 11 unanimously approved appointments and carried a consent agenda that included two adopted ordinances addressing wetlands conservation easements.
By voice and roll call, the committee appointed Daniel Sini as a full member of the Basking Ridge Fire Company No. 1 and volunteer first-aid squad (Resolution 20250388) and approved the appointment of David Shepherd as a full member (Resolution 20250392). Both motions carried by unanimous roll call.
The committee also held public hearings and adopted two ordinances accepting wetlands-related easements: Ordinance 2588 accepts a wetlands conservation easement on property at 16 Saint Nicholas Way (Block 8802, Lot 29), and Ordinance 2589 accepts an amended wetlands buffer conservation easement on property at 3 Emerald Valley Lane (Block 11401, Lot 21). No public comments were offered during those hearings, and each ordinance was adopted by roll call.
A motion to adopt the consent agenda was made and approved by roll call; the items on the consent agenda were enacted together with no separate discussion. The committee also approved minutes for the Oct. 28, 2025 open-session meeting and adjourned without entering executive session.
