Maywood trustees confirm James Brewer to Fire and Police Commission, approve $468,409.77 warrant list; another appointment pulled

An item to appoint Christopher Brown to the Board of Fire and Police Commission, to complete the expired term of Gloria Clay, was pulled by Mayor Perkins and was not acted on at the meeting.
On financial business, Trustee I. Brandon moved and Trustee A. Sanchez seconded approval of Village of Maywood Warrant List No. 200492 through April 29, 2020 in the amount of $468,409.77. The motion carried with Mayor Perkins and Trustees I. Brandon, M. Jones, A. Sanchez, K. Wellington and N. Booker recorded as aye votes; no discussion was recorded in the minutes about the warrant list.
The meeting record lists several staff in attendance, including Village Manager Willie Norfleet Jr., Finance Director Lanya Satchell, Human Resources Coordinator LaSondra Banks, Deputy Police Chief Elijah Willis, Planning/Zoning Officer Edgar Lara, Community Development Director David Myers, Public Works Director John West and Village Attorney Michael Jurusik (participating via video).
