The Argo Community High School District 217 finance committee reviewed employee wellness and EAP materials at its Jan. 21 meeting, including results from the district’s 10th annual wellness screening and an impact report on the Perspectives Employee Assistance Program.
The minutes state the district held the wellness screening on Nov. 17, 2025 through Empower Health Services; 100% of participating employees completed the Health Risk Assessment and 43 employees completed the blood‑draw screenings, an increase of two participants from the prior year. The packet notes that 49 employees initially registered and six were no‑shows.
The committee packet also included a Perspectives EAP impact report. The minutes report the district’s annual cost for the EAP provider as $3,402.00 and a utilization rate of 5.82% this year, down from 16.93% last year. The minutes say the district will continue outreach with HR, union representatives and Perspectives to increase awareness and use of the confidential service; the packet notes Perspectives has a mobile app for employees.
Committee Member Catherine Jozwiak reviewed the documents and indicated they were in order. The minutes do not record any formal action or changes to benefits or funding levels.
